Field care instructions

Small Game Animals

1) Any small Game Animal should not be skinned or gutted if it is being taken to a taxidermist with in 10-12 hours of dispatch

2) Game animals should be kept where it can air cool and out of the direct sun & heat

3) No Game animal or Skin should be placed in a plastic bag only place small animals in a bag right before you place it in a freezer

Any animal that can not be frozen or taken to a Taxidermist with in 12 hrs should do the following:

1) Take measurements and written down as following:
   nose to corner of eye
   nose to back of skull
   nose to base of tail
   circumference of girth
   circumference of neck

2) Skinned with proper incision
3) Must be cleaned of all meat and fat
4) Salted heavily,even layer of salt covering the entire skin be sure to get onside the ears and tail
5) Place the salted hide so it can drain fluid
6) Keep out of the sun and heat
